Their First Meeting
The first time Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent met to sing face to face was on the televised portion of the Grand Ole Opry.
A plane delay forced the pair to walk on LIVE TV and sing together without rehearsal, and without ever having met before that night.
After they sang the first line together, there was an instant moment of magic and admiration.
It was apparent that everyone listening was mesmerized by their unique vocal blend, and the two were awe-struck by the sound their voices made when joined in perfect harmony.
The popularity of the duets from Watson's projects, resulted in requests for a Gene and Rhonda tour; which co-billed Gene Watson & The Farewell Party Band and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage.
Now Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent have joined together to create a collection of the finest traditional country music that has been recorded in years!
George Jones says, "It's the REAL DEAL!"
"I love Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent. Together they have created something very special. I haven't heard country music like this in years."
Bill Anderson says, "It doesn't get any better than this!"
"The first time I heard Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent sing together, I knew it was a match made in country music heaven."

8th Annual Auction Barn Jamboree - Colborne
The year culminates Labour Day weekend with a 4 day Jamboree held at the Keeler Centre in Colborne inviting some 300 campers on the grounds as well as walk in. Weekend and daily passes for all enthusiasts. The event includes time for open mic, participants as well as professional stage shows each evening Thursday to Saturday each day ending at 1:00 a.m. and Sunday ending at 11:00p.m. A large country gospel hour Sunday morning is performed. Monday is left as a travel day for those fans to go home.
Organization is the key and capacity crowds enjoy the event. The best part about all the activities is they are run as a hobby as opposed to a business for large profits. Gary is a full time auctioneer operating Warner’s Auction Hall in Colborne. Linda is retired from her professional employment and is now enjoying this adventure as one of her hobbies. Major profits are not part of the goals and therefore keep all events affordable for everyone.
Entertainers
We welcome all country music musicians to take part in this weekend. Those wishing to participate on the main stage shows should send a resume and a CD of their talents to Gary Warner, along with and 8 X 10 picture for promotions. Also included in the package should be a list of playing dates, which you have that are open to the public so that we may attend to enjoy your performance.
